Veterans Affairs Regional Office - LEED Gold

Located in Hampton’s own development, Williamsburg Village, Hampton Construction broke ground on the Veterans Affairs Regional office in July of 2009. The 66,000 square foot precast office building includes space for 230 VA employees and four other service organizations. The entire team had the responsibility of designing to meet very restrictive covenants and coordinating the requirements of multiple government agencies. True to the Williamsburg Colonial theme, this project involved fluted wood casing on all the windows and doors, allowing our skills to be showcased.

“Throughout the entire project cycle, Hampton was very responsive to client requests, issues, and concerns, even when doing so required additional resources and acceleration of the construction schedule to remain on track with an already aggressive occupancy plan. As the project progressed, it became clear to me that Mr. Hampton’s comment about customer service was completely true, and that customer satisfaction was indeed an overriding goal shared by everyone on the Hampton team.”

John Owens, Project Manager
