Hampton helps bring the 'revolution' to GlynOaks Plaza

Founded in Lincoln in 2015, Fly | A Fitness Revolution offers “every inch of your workout under one roof,” says Morgan Horton, studio director.
That roof can now be found at GlynOaks Plaza, Hampton Enterprises’ southeast Lincoln commercial and residential development. Fly’s second full-service fitness facility opened for classes Nov. 19 at 5025 Lindberg Street, joining the original downtown location.
“We found this location to be a heartbeat on this side of the city,” Horton said. “It’s in a community with a lot of traffic that lacked something like this.”
“Plus, the aesthetic of GlynOaks matched our brand perfectly. It made sense in every way.” Fly offers high-intensity interval training, cycling, yoga, barre and pilates classes in a positive, confidence-building environment. The studio also includes a clothing boutique with popular brands.
Hampton helped Fly’s vision for the space come to fruition, Horton said.
“They found any means necessary to create the space we dreamed of,” she said, “and delivered on it. Hampton is into the details, and so are we.”
Those details can be seen in the cycle room — in every inch of the podium and the controls for sound and lighting options. Hampton also saw to it that the room’s back wall — a window — could be blacked out in such a way that it would give Fly the environment its instructors need to put on an excellent class.
“Hampton worked seamlessly with our vendors to make it happen,” Horton said. Fly members old, new and prospective alike appreciate the addition of such a facility to southeast Lincoln, she said, adding that her team expects the studio to be a "sanctuary" in the coming winter months.
“We have longtime members who are excited they can make classes on days they’ve never been able to before,” Horton said. “They’ve been waiting for something like this.”
